      • As always; I sound like a broken record…. yes, yes, yes it was great thanks to dancing…. I was certainly a bit tired this morning though… it’s now 6.30pm and I’m off to be chief cook and bottle washer… When do you get time off? ;)

        • No, you don’t! I am glad you had a good time! I think I would faint if you actually came back and said you didn’t. Or, you would be feeling my hand on your forehead from this distance to check your temperature! :) How was the chief cook and bottle washer?

I am off weekends, get off Saturday morning and go back to work on Monday night. This weekend just been trying to get use to the monitor, change all the stuff to the new CPU, download the programs I CANNOT live without. :)

          • Chief cook and bottle washer at your service….. I cooked up a storm (had something yummy for dinner) and then cleaned up (fairies don’t visit my place; so I do the cleaning up)…. is this a saying in the States – chief cook and bottle washer?

Glad to hear that you get two days off; wasn’t sure! How’s the computer stuff going? Have you been able to download everything? :)

            • Fairies, elves, they don’t bother to clean up my place either. I have asked, wished, demanded, but no luck. :( Yes, “chief cook and bottle washer” is a saying here.

Yep, 2 days off a week, every weekend. I am so glad I do.

I think I have gotten everything. I will find out if I go to use something and I don’t have it. I do think I have it all caught up. I hope so. :)

      • You’re welcome. It’s been a nice weekend, pottering about on little things. But very cold. We’ve actually had some snow here! :D How is your weekend?

        • You had snow? Did you take a picture? Cold is no fun. It is BEAUTIFUL outside today, EXCEPT for the cold and the wind. The wind just makes it feel so much colder. Did you enjoy your snow?

          • I was rather boring and stayed indoors this time because I was so cold. I couldn’t understand at the time because I seemed a lot colder than I would have expected, but I think I was just a tiny bit under the weather. It is melting now but it has been beautiful. I took lots of pictures. I put some on FB and some on http://clicksequalspics.blogspot.com

            • You may have been under the weather a bit! I hope you are ok! Oh good, some pics! I will check. I have the link open now that you put in this comment so I can check them out. Yesterday I was tired. I didn’t get on the computer much. PLUS…some guest came in the lobby at 1am and DID NOT LEAVE! He was still here when my boss came in at 7am. So I didn’t get on while the guest was here. They don’t usually hang out in the lobby so long. He said he could not sleep. Watched television, played on the computer, TALKED! Hehehehhe

              • It’s nothing serious, it’ll soon pass. Oh I’m photo obsessed. I took SO many photos of the snow! That’s why I like having my photoblog so much…I can share as many of the pictures as I like without boring anyone. If people look and they like what they see it’s nice, but it’s not in their face if they don’t want to see them. :)

              • Good, I am happy to hear it is not serious! Your photos are great! I had a look see at your blog. They are beautiful! They are not boring! :) Not at all! How is your weekend?

              • Thank you so much for looking at my blog and for liking the pictures. I am always so happy when someone enjoys them.

My weekend is quite lazy at the moment. :) I was painting until 1am this morning and hope to do another version of the same painting tonight when the light is the same, so it’s mainly reading and maybe some sleeping (if I feel like it) thrown in today. How’s your weekend going?

              • Heck yeah! I follow the blog now too! I just popped the url in the place where you can add them to the blogs you follow! So will know when you post again! :)

My weekend will be lazy now, I am off work now, have been for 4 hours and 10 minutes. The weekend is young!

What you painting? Why another version of the painting?

              • I forgot the painting…it’s a little still life of a little copper kettle ornament that used to belong to my great-grandmother. Has real sentimental value. Sometimes I think my painting style is too uptight. BUt if I try it more freely I think i’m not doing it well enough (I can’t win! I argue with myself in my head about all sorts of things!) So I thought I would TRY to do two paintings of the same thing, one in each style and see what I thought. :D

              • Thank you, you are very kind. It’s just that sometimes I get so fussy about things that I feel I overwork them to the point where I start to spoil them because I didn’t know when to stop! :D Anyway, I managed to finish the second one at midnight! And guess what? It didn’t turn into a pumpkin! :D I’ve just posted them both on FB and hope to add them to my Page and/or blog later.

              • I think you are no different from any artist when it comes to your work. I would imagine they all find things wrong with it, no matter what. The Kettles! They are great! Can’t make up my mind which I like best tho. I think #1. Which do you like best?

              • Thanks for the words of comfort and for the compliment and for your opinion. I’m very interested in which one people prefer. I’m not sure which I prefer, i seem to alternate. :D
